The basic features of the Visual One Web Page Interface, all of which are subject to various rules and restrictions defined by the property’s management staff, include:

  • Allows a (potential) guest to view room availability and rates and, if desired, to make a “regular” reservation or a “package plan” reservation and obtain a real-time confirmation number and an e-mailed confirmation

  • Allows a guest to retrieve, change, and cancel their reservation

  • Allows a group leader to send a “link” to their potential attendees so that the attendees can make a reservation against the group block

  • Allows a (potential) guest to “pick-up” a room from a group block by clicking the link

  • Allows the group leader to create a “welcome” or informational message which greets the potential group-attendee when that attendee visits the property’s website.

  • Allows a guest to view the meeting schedule/agenda via the group link (requires V1 Sales & Catering System)

The hardware requirements are as follows:

Internet Information Server (Web Server with Microsoft IIS V4) operating NT and Secure Socket Layer software (such as Verisign), a firewall between V1 and the Internet, and an on-line/real-time connection to the Visual One software.  The Web Server must support Microsoft SQL transactions, a SQL-OLEDB connection, and a public, static IP address.
