When used together, the Visual One Property Management system and the Visual One Point-Of-Sale system can maintain a history of restaurant, gift shop, spa, and deli purchases. Checks that are settled to room accounts are automatically linked to the guest’s history, but any check can be linked to a guest account whether or not the guest has stayed in the property. Reports of the guest’s history can be obtained both in the POS outlet, and at the PMS workstations. The front desk can view a list of the guest’s POS checks and look at each one in detail. A summary is also shown of total revenue, total tips, revenue by category and payment methods. This is the type of close integration for which Visual One is known.
